A project taken on by Cole Thompson to assist Mobile Coordinators with the manual inputting tasks that go into receiving and deploying mobile phones to employees. Created a PowerApp that enables Mobile Coordinators to scan/take-pictures of an iPhone’s about page and utilizing AI-builder to text recognize the phone’s Model, Serial Number, IMEI and other basic information.

The general workflow of the app are:
- Select a operation from a dropdown i.e. Deploy, 2. Receive,
- Select an option from Device Assessment dropdown – grading the condition of the device 0-10 grading or dropdown
- Take a picture of a phone’s “About Page”
- (run) Dynamic AI Process for Text Rec. Shall be able to do the same effect as the above video.
- Confirm and upload
Backend
- We are able to retrieve the person who process this phone (captured in PowerApps script)
- We are able to get the action timestamp
- Once committed, it will upload the data to a SharePoint List (we will change this to SQL in future but need to avoid the delegation error if over 2000 lines)
