This project was taken on by Cole Thompson, to help a internal client review spend of computer accessories (Displays, Docking Stations, Speakers, Headphones, etc.) based on employees hired by office locations. This assists in helping Asset Management follow recycling of accessories from terminated employees to new employees, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
The general workflow of the dashboard for the end client are:
- Receive Amazon Invoice and insert into SharePoint folder
- Power Automate triggers auto refresh, data is loaded into Power BI and employee data is sync’d via auto-refreshing Workday dataflow
- Visuals are updated for most current month, client is able to examine hires vs Computer spend
